There are many ways to support the mission and ideals of the United States Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Association as a member, partner or sponsor. Anyone can participate to create positive change and we would welcome you to contact us to discuss the many opportunities.

A great way to make a difference is to start a club with the US Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations!

Thank you for donating to the US Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations. You are helping us take the next step towards furthering world peace through education, science, and communication.

Application for Recognition as a UNESCO Club

Thank you very much for your interest in forming a UNESCO Club!

As a Member State of UNESCO, the U.S. is eligible to host UNESCO clubs. These clubs take a variety of forms – depending by whom and under what circumstances they are created – and are able to tap into the global network of UNESCO clubs, as they wish.

The Working Group for UNESCO Clubs, Centers, and Associations – an ad hoc group under the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO – works to coordinate UNESCO Clubs, Centers, and Associations in the United States.

While this Working Group acts as a liaison with UNESCO groups in the U.S., recognition by the Working Group constitutes no official endorsement by the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO. UNESCO clubs, associations, and centers in the U.S. are not official U.S. government organizations; they and their members are responsible for their own activities.

If you would like to form a UNESCO club within the U.S., please attach a copy of your bylaws (if any) and executive committee members and submit the full application to USclubsworkinggroup@unescocenterforpeace.org or by fax at 240-536-9199.
Any questions or comments may be directed to:
